To dream or not to dream?

In this world there is suffering.
The suffering has a cause.
The cause is a desire...
The suffering can be ended by ending the desire.

The resident of my heart

It's a lush green meadow and I lay here in the sun
She bends over me,about to kiss, she is my hun
She stops, smiles, her hair glows in the sunlight
and a bright face sets my heart pounding right

Her laughter,giggle,chuckle reverberate in me
her voice gives me goosebumps, her face I wanna see
Back to the meadows, she is about to kiss, I wish time stops now
I love you baby, from the bottom of my heart and how...

I love your tantrums, your scoldings and your anger
I love everything about you,I know I'm in danger
In danger of a heartbreak but who really cares?
Victory goes to him,he who really dares

I gaze into her eyes, they are smiling too :)
so full of love!I wish I could hold you
This is the best portrait I have in my mind
To have blessed me with it,you are so kind

I want three things, your love, your love & your love
Give it to me and we will fly far far above
all of my heart's yours, my dearest dear
With your hands in mine,I got nothing to fear
you will be mine then, there is nothing to fear...

My personal diary

Many people tell me that my blog sounds like a personal diary sometimes and I tell them 'Ya got no idea mate!'.Anush's comment for Chinnu's blog reminded of this question I used to get frequently.

The fact is, just to set the record straight, I DO have a personal diary...ofcourse , one that is definitely not a blog.My dad introduced me to this wonderful habit of maintaining a personal diary at a young age of 8 years old- that is 1995.Hmmm, I know what you are thinking. But 8 years olds got feelings don't they?He taught me what I might want to write in it - anything and everything.I used to write like once in two days with a freakish little handwriting thats gotten freakier right now.I still take them out once in a while and go through what I had in my mind way back then.

Some stuff is funny, some pages just refresh my memory and some just seem to impress myself. There are poems, so called stories or short stories, daily updates, things-to-do,etc.,

Over time, this habit evolved. I write everyday now, I demand the best diary among the numerous diaries gifted...then I demand the next too. You see, one of them is a decoy...with a so-called maintainance which is supposed to make nosey people think thats the one- courtesy the fact that I found out that my parents used to read them when I was a kid. I never write any feelings in them, everything in it is very general and of no use to me in the future.I remember every diary I have ever used and I have well-hidden all the diaries that I wouldn't want anybody to touch.

I don't see why a blog shouldn't be a diary. It all depends on how much you are comfortable of letting people know.It depends on how much secure you feel.It depends on how much you want to communicate. Some people just blog to look funny or cool, some just write lines with the toughest words you can find in the dictionary and make their posts as hard to understand as possible, just to show that their language is good. Some just brag on and on and onnnnnnn about things that would be of interest to a very small group of people and end up calling it a blog about their life.Thats hardly communication!Thats hardly a blog!!

My blog is far far away from my personal diary and I doubt that either of them will tell you my complete story....a story that has just begun!!

Then and now

What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.

No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.

No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars like skies at night.

No time to turn at Beauty’s glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.

No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.

A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

* Where are those days when I would spend all the time in the noon staring at the eagles in the sky circling as if in slow motion? They used to take about an hour to circle in and out of our view of the sky.I look up now and there ain't even half the number of eagles there used to be.

* When I could just pick up my trusty catapult and shoot pebble after pebble , the exact same spot on the tree without being shouted at by anyone. Now I neither have a caterpillar nor do I go 30 seconds without washing my hands as soon as I pick up a pebble.

* When I could just pick up my bicycle in the evening and ride off to somewhere someplace where the wheels took me.Now,I think twice before kick-starting my bike wondering how much of my dad's money I am burning.

* When elders meant - respect, hurry, busy-for-me, worried, hard work , my-source-of-coffee , force-me-to-eat , never-understand-me , NEVER-GROW-UP-TO-BE-ONE!!!

* When betta seemed to be so far away and I would promise myself - I will definitely go to the betta at least once a year when I grow up.Now so many trees on the hill thank me and my buddies.

* When fantasy land meant- fantasy land.It had gummi bears, wendy the witch or Ritchie Rich and lots of cool stuff or magical things. Now its a lush green meadow, a bubbling brook and my dreamgirl.

* When 2 AM meant I'm in the middle of my daily quota of deep sleep and probably a dream and NOT the last person of the day I am bugging on the chat.

I AM NOT SUICIDAL

It's been really a while since I unbottled myself here. Its just been funny little that and funny little this lately.Lets set the record straight.I have not blogged because I had my exams.
My exams were one hell of a nightmare for me.I thought I was down and out this time. But thanks to my friends, I have done better than that at least.I realised a few things during the exams.
When your are going well, a lot of people seem to be nice and friendly, but when you are having a tough time, few come to your help. They are real friends.I found quite a few of those real friends during the last month. So many people showed support, lent me their books, notes etc,.I would take their names here, but they wont be comfortable, nor will the ones who miss out being mentioned.I don't need to say thanks to my own friends either.
The thing is, I hardly ask for help...I don't like taking favours.
I tried to put up my usual happy face all the time...but this time it was so hard.A lot of things went wrong, not just with the exams, but a lot of other things too.

I wrote this for my "about me" on a profile recently:

I have my own ups and downs like all of you...
I call spade a spade,I am not diplomatic, (diplomacy is just a nice word for the behaviour of cunning people),which will make you hate me somehow.
I don't like groupism...I fit anywhere, this again works against me.
I usually have a smile on my face and as most other things it works against me because I am either accused of smiling too much OR WHEN I DO GET SAD once in a while I am hated the most["oh he has lost it"]...even accused of being paranoid about my troubles.

beyond that, I don't know myself.

I am NOT moody, I just lost it for a while. Now I haven't unwound myself totally...but definitely I am not loosing it now.

Recently, after all my mad mad outbursts, I earned the 'suicidal' tag I hear.I am NOT SUICIDAL.The last thing I want anybody to say after I am gone is "Its sad he took his own life ( He wasn't much worth alive-but still :P)". My next statement may not have many believers but its a fact that I have saved a few people from committing suicide.
If I ever look like I have committed suicide, even if I have written a suicide note, you can blindly assume that I have been murdered and can suspect a conspiracy cause I ain't ever gonna take the escape route...I'll stay and fight.
I have a good reason to live.

And now for my last request, just because I don't tell you about my troubles it doesn't mean they don't exist...the least you can do is ignore me, than to call me paranoid!!!!PLEASE!

a departing thought for now...
In order to form an immaculate member of a flock of sheep one must, above all, be a sheep.

Attention one and all: New ICC rules

New ICC rules:

After watching the test match, I feel some rules have to be incorporated by
ICC to give the other teams a perfect clarification[before you read on, you might want to check out a post on a related issue I published earlier-->click here]

(1) Ricky Ponting - (THE TRULY GENUINE CRICKETER OF THE CRICKET ERA AND
WHOSE INTEGRITY SHOULD NOT BE DOUBTED) should be considered as the FOURTH
UMPIRE. As per the new rules, FOURTH UMPIRE decision is final and will over
ride any decisions taken by any other umpires. ON-FIELD umpires can seek the
assistance of RICKY PONTING even if he is not on the field. This rule is to
be made, so that every team should understand the importance of the FOURTH
UMPIRE.

(2) While AUSTRALIAN TEAM is bowling, If the ball flies anywhere close to
the AUSTRALIAN FIELDER(WITHIN 5 metre distance), the batsman is to be
considered OUT irrelevant of whether the catch was taken cleanly or grassed.
Any decision for further clarification should be seeked from the FOURTH
UMPIRE. This is made to ensure that the cricket is played with SPORTIVE
SPIRIT by all the teams.

(3) While BATTING, AUSTRALIAN players will wait for the ON-FIELD UMPIRE
decisions only (even if the catch goes to the FIFTH SLIP as the ball might
not have touched the bat). Each AUSTRALIAN batsman has to be out FOUR TIMES
(minimum) before he can return to the pavilion. In case of THE CRICKETER
WITH INTEGRITY, this can be higher.

(4) UMPIRES should consider a huge bonus if an AUSTRALIAN player scores a
century. Any wrong decisions can be ignored as they will be paid huge bonus
and will receive the backing of the AUSTRALIAN team and board.

(5) All AUSTRALIAN players are eligible to keep commenting about all
players on the field and the OPPONENT TEAM should never comment as they will
be spoiling the spirit of the AUSTRALIAN team. Any comments made in any
other language are to be considered as RACIALISM only.

(6) MATCH REFREE decisions will be taken purely on the AUSTRALIAN TEAM
advices only. Player views from the other teams decisions will not be
considered for hearing. MATCH REFREES are to be given huge bonus if this
rule is implemented.

(7) NO VISITING TEAM should plan to win in AUSTRALIA. This is to ensure
that the sportive spirit of CRICKET is maintained.

(8) THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE: If any bowler gets RICKY PONTING - "THE
UNDISPUTED CRICKETER WITH INTEGTIRY IN THE GAME OF CRICKET" more than twice
in a series, he will be banned for the REST OF THE SERIES. This is to ensure
that the best batsman/Captain will be played to break records and create
history in the game of CRICKET.

These rules will clarify better to the all teams VISITING AUSTRALIA.

Excuse me!

Harbhajjan allegedly called Andrew Symonds -" Big monkey" I am sure it is rascism and deeply deeply hurting for all monkeys! The ICC is going to take action on behalf of the International Monkey Association [IMA ]

Jokes apart, I'm deeply disgusted at the turn of events.
I wont be surprised if Bhajji really did abuse Symonds. It is wrong, but paying no heed to an Indian's word, especially someone as reputed as Sachin is a bigger abuse.

I dont even need to mention the 'unsportsman-like' conduct from the Aussies.I actually thought they were within their rights when they were appealing, but what I found really funny was when Steve Waugh was asked about what he felt of this 'unsportsman-like' conduct he said " I have to defend them, I completely support them, this is the way we play, this is our culture"
LOL are you telling me you are uncultured Mr.Waugh?
This is the kind of stuff that makes it so hard for people to be a fan of great cricketers from Oz,retired or not.

Now, what remains is to see India face a humiliating defeat down under after the BCCI is done with flexing its muscles with ICC just cause all the money is in India.

And finally..."Big Monkey"....rascism?, helloo? Are you really so dumb or is the effect of sitting on your ass all day and DNA[ Doing Nothing Again] ???

-->More on this issue.
