My internals have gone better than I expected, here is why:

I expected myself to write 3 tests out of 6 and bunk the rest.
I actually wrote 4.Yipee!

I expected myself to attend not more than 5 marks in each.
I actually attended upto 10 in all out of the 25.yipee!

I expected myself to copy all those 5 marks.
I actually wrote almost 3 marks sincerely![all tests put together]

I expected myself to be sad after the tests.
India won!any more questions?

India World champions

The cup comes home!More importantly the victory over Pakistan. They can have the cup but we cant lose against them, and that is my friend is solid point.

Congrats Team rock!

Ahhhhhhh October at last!

Its been quite a while since I wrote my last blog.I went ahead of myself in the middle of last month and later on I jus had to space left to blog anymore :D.I kept myself busy with a new career on...on...on...NFS Most Wanted.Right! I have gone where few man have gone before...a land unknown, rarely conquered...I finished the challenger series on the same game.I know I know...for those of u who haven't played the game, this is getting boring :P.
Anyway, its october at last, I dunno why I am happy about it....maybe its gotta do something with me having a fresh new space for net usage?

I just cant remember the last time I felt like not playing cricket.Today the guys decided to play cricket...the sun was toooooooo hot!We bunked a Microprocessors class and went to Pramukhs house to play.I just couldnt play!!!
Stomach aching now...better freshen up n take rest!

The cracker match

Recently when India won that match against England,My cricket crazy family went bonkers. My dad was the most crazy one shouting "Namma Naada kodava, nanna putra, Kodava Putra....."
running out on to the streets, claiming Utthappa is his son. After he came he even "disowned" me.
"A guy who has such a bad showing in his exams aint ma son!!Utthappa is my son".LOL.He looked like he was on an overdose of adro!

20 Minutes hence he found out that the man-o-the-match award went to Sachin and uh-oh!Here comes the pain. His temper rose like the eiffel. He first jumped around a bit then straightaway went and kicked the sleepin pooch! lol. The poor thing was dumbstruck!

Pluto seemed happy to be woken up, but I decided to go and close the door before dad tried to make him more happy!

Dad soon went to sleep still shouting curses at the authorities,Sachin,me ,this and that!!!

Adopt a puppy :)

I recently talked about the orphaned puppies that we tried to find a home for.Well, I always had an idea of having a community on orkut for such incidents where we can go by the concept of "SOMEBODY WANTS A PUPPY SOMEBODY HAS A PUPPY"
Check it out, if you are a member on orkut.Click Here.

Support the open source campaign

I just got the requested CDs from Ubuntu for Ubuntu and Kubuntu, if you live somewhere close to me (in my city) ,I'll be glad to share these with you.But they wont last long so better ask me ASAP. :)

India - I love you

* The President of India DR. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam 's Speech in Hyderabad . *

Why is the media here so negative?
Why are we in India so embarrassed to recognize our own strengths, our achievements? We are such a great nation. We have so many amazing success stories but we refuse acknowledge them--- Why?

We are the first in milk production.
We are number one in Remote sensing satellites.
We are the second largest producer of wheat.
We are the second largest producer of rice.
Look at Dr. Sudarshan , he has transferred the tribal village into a self-sustaining, self-driving unit.

There are millions of such achievements but our media is only obsessed in the bad news and failures and disasters.

I was in Tel Aviv once and I was reading the Israeli newspaper. It was the day after a lot of attacks and bombardments and deaths had taken place. The Hamas had struck. But the front page of the newspaper had the picture of a Jewish gentleman who in five years had transformed his desert into an orchid and a granary. It was this inspiring picture that everyone woke up to. The gory details of killings, bombardments, deaths, were inside in the newspaper, buried among other news.

In India we only read about death, sickness, terrorism, crime.

Why are we so NEGATIVE?

Another question: Why are we, as a nation so obsessed with foreign things? We want foreign T. Vs, we want foreign shirts. We want foreign technology.

Why this obsession with everything imported. Do we not realize that self-respect comes with self-reliance? I was in Hyderabad giving this lecture, when a 14 year old girl asked me for my autograph. I asked her what her goal in life is. She replied: I want to live in a developed India . For her, you and I will have to build this developed India . You must proclaim. India is not an under-developed nation; it is a highly developed nation.

I am in bring it on!

Everytime I finished writing my exams I would tell my friends that if the results were bad I would give up studies and join cricket, because those days I used to be good, especially at bowling.
A state-level player who played with us -Prashanth, always encouraged me to go for one of the selections...he seemed confident for me.Being a die hard fan of the game it used to make me feel really good inside to hear such things.
Earlier this year, I performed hopelessly in the exams in 3rd sem.But at that I couldnt say the same thing, because I had broken my toe and I had never realised how a small thing such as a toe could bring a man down like that.I just couldnt walk properly.I refused to believe it was broken initially, I even kept playing to convince myself that I was fine.I was only fooling was broken and it was broken real good. I was dragged to the hospital to get it seen by a doc.The bone, X-ray reports revealed, had completely snapped. =))
I never bowled with much fire after that. Not till today morning.Yeah baby!!!Today morning was like...BACK IN BUSINESS! Its so important to me because I am the fan here.I love the game.I will never play for a state/national team, but its till the same game I am playing. Its important to me cause I love it, cause it makes me feel good inside.I had the batsman at my mercy and I could feel it.Oh Yeah!Keep on rolling baby!

Puppy power

Yesterday, unfortunately, the M.C.C [Mysore City Corporation] killed yet another dog which had a litter of 5 puppies which were only 20 days old. I got a call from a friend at around 9 about this news.We had find the puppies a home until Friday after which someone was ready to take them all in.God bless them.:). I in a hurry didn't note down the door no of the place I was supposed to be searching for and immediately went in search of it. I searched from 9 to around 10:30 for house #1707 somewhere near Adichunchungiri Matt. After all that searching , all I got was an empty site. There was no house at 1707.
I think I confused #1070 with #1707.So first thing today morning I went in search of #1070...It started raining.I searched for about half an hour, guess what I found?...a bad cold!
Another 10 minutes later I found a #1070.It was a huge house 2 nos away from the Jyothi Departmental stores ( formerly the famous Kamala Departmental stores ).It had a huge "Beware of dog" Sign on its gate. The place didnt look like the aftermath of an MCC 'pooh raid' ;) cause there were 7 street dogs - well fed, healthy looking sleeping casually just a few feet away.I however just gave a knock on the gates,Nobody answered for a while. I have no ID or any such sort of thing to produce and prove that I am from the A.W.A. To top it all the odds of this being the place was very low cause I was told it was 2 doors away from Adichunchungiri matt and here I was 2 Kilometers away from the place.I just decide not to knock again.
I should call up my friend again, but I dont remember which diary I wrote her number in,I was kinda in a hurry yesterday :O
I was gifted about 7 diaries this year, I maintain only one of them while I note down stuff in the others. So I first gotta search for her number and then figure out the rest.Achchooo!!
Until then...achchoo!...I mean achchoo!...excuse me!...achchoo!

The balancing act

For those who ask me if it is really possible to manage with the HOME 250 Plan of BSNL broadband here are a few pictures.I have been given the nickname "Always online..." you might be aware of that!So that pretty much explains how much time I spend on the net. I usually get questions like "Is 1 gb space limit enough??" ..."is it it this...". I suggest you take a closer look at these pictures. This the homepage where you check your net balance.

Aug 30th: 10:10 pm
about 2 days to go and 10 MBs left.

Aug 31st: 10 to 10 PM
2 hours and 2 MBs left:
Now people are really wishing that I will logout and leave them alone.LOL. :))

A new dawn...
Sep 1st:
I check Augusts record....

(When you are paying for an entire GB why not make the max use of it?
Especially when each MB costs almost a rupee ;)
India didn't get so far with lavish ways!)

I hope this blog clears all those doubts.

For your heart only...

Your eyes are like an ocean, like a gem,
can never get to see enough of them
Why god brought us together?I now know,
Don't you know?the world runs on love...

yes,the world runs on love,my love

So will ours,if u just see...
the point thats so clear to me.
Your heart is like a warm hut, full of care,
how I wish to be a resident there!!

yes,the world runs on love,my love

you gotta say yes, someday to someone,
some day, you will find the one

Say yes now!Say it to me...
Cause I AM The one, you will see.

yes,the world runs on love,my love

There ain't no trenches deep or wide,
enough where my love for you can hide.
In me now,you must confide
and stand by my heart's side.

yes,the world runs on love,my love

Talking to you is the best part of my day
Like, idle on the grass at noon in may,
I wait n wait,watching your window,
Then your two letter word- "hi"' gives the 'Go!!'

The wait is long but worth the pain,
but once we start here we go again,
3 hours time flies, under our nose,
Time to say bye? there my smile goes... :(

Oh my rose! How I wanna propose
In ways other than these prose
In ways other than these prose...

The hate club

A few days back someone slipped the fact to me that I was hated a lot in the class...hmmm.COOL my very own hate club! awesome!
There is a famous quote.."If 1 million love me, 10 million hate me" . I still choose to go with that one million.
Maybe in my case only 10000 hate me :D, but doesnt that give me a 1000 people who love me?
I go with them.

Anyway I never knew I was significant enough to be hated ;)

Chak de India

I had been to "Chak de India" last saturday...the Movie is awesome, SRK is awesome! No doubt now why they call him the Badshah.

I love ze style baby!

Congrats Dada...

Back in buisness...........
